Privacy policy
Privacy policy
Draft for approval. Last updated 18 October 2026.
This policy explains how Ice Leisure Group Ltd ("we", "us") uses personal data collected through iceleisure.co.uk. Each of our rinks has its own website and privacy policy covering bookings and visits.
Who we are
Ice Leisure Group Ltd, Office 7, 35–37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JN. We are the controller of the data described here. Contact: rob@iceleisure.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry:
- your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number and organisation;
- your message and your answers to the form's questions (for example your site, town or the product you're interested in);
- the page you sent it from and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed;
- a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, used only to stop the form being abused. We do not store the address itself.
When you browse the site, with your consent, analytics cookies set through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics record how the site is used.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal or quote. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep the form free of spam. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
- To understand which pages and campaigns work. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings.
We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from when you send them, then deleted, unless they become part of a contract, in which case we keep them for as long as the contract requires. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Who handles it for us
- Vercel (website hosting);
- Amazon Web Services (sending enquiry emails);
- our database provider (storing enquiries);
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics, with your consent).
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email rob@iceleisure.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page.
